Hearing Loss Association of America

The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

RID is the national organization for CCTRID and provides information on interpreting to the general public, publishes a national directory of certified interpreters, and makes referrals to interpreter agencies.

This is a non-profit organization that provides interpreting services to the Chattanooga and surrounding areas.

Chattanooga State Community College

Chattanooga State offers a two-year transfer Associate of Science degree with concentration for ASL; students usually transfer to a four-year institution to continue study for an interpreting bachelors degree.

The American Sign Language Teachers Association

ASLTA is the only national organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching of ASL and Deaf Studies at all levels of instruction.
